Wi-Fi Setup
To set up your printer on Wi-Fi, ensure it’s powered on and connected to the same network as your device. On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings menu,
select your network, and enter the Wi-Fi password. The printer will connect to your Wi-Fi, and once successful, you can print from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Make sure the printer's Wi-Fi light is on, indicating a successful connection.
Printer Wi-Fi Direct Setup
Wi-Fi Direct allows your printer to connect directly to your device without a router. To enable Wi-Fi Direct, press the Wi-Fi Direct button or go into the printer's settings and activate it.
The printer will generate a Wi-Fi Direct network name and password. On your device, select the printer’s network name from available Wi-Fi networks and enter the provided password. Once connected, you can send print jobs directly to the printer.
Printer Wi-Fi Manual Setup
To manually set up Wi-Fi on your printer, access the settings menu through the printer’s control panel. Select "Manual" for network setup and choose your Wi-Fi network from the list of available options. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the printer’s keypad or touchscreen.
Once the connection is established, the printer will display a confirmation message, indicating it’s connected. This method is ideal for complex or hidden networks where automatic detection fails.
